Love them or hate them, e-bikes are here to stay. They allow people who are recovering from an injury to join a bicycle tour. They help couples with differing abilities ride together for the first time. They take the sting out of getting older. They open the door to a new form of travel previously considered impossible. But, they don’t solve every problem, nor are they the right choice for every rider.
On Tuesday, January 21 ExperiencePlus! co-owner Maria Elena Price and EP bicycle fleet manager Igor Baccini will host a live conversation, “All about e-bikes.” Maria Elena will give an overview of how e-bikes have transformed the customer experience on tours and provide a few insights to the opportunities and challenges that e-bikes have created for bicycle tour operators. Igor will then present some e-bike basics before sharing additional information about the ExperiencePlus! e-bike fleet.
The duo will then be joined by EP Marketing and Customer Communications Manager Carol Busch for a breakdown of the questions riders should ask themselves before committing to rent an e-bike on tour and a brief discussion of the on-tour challenges people have faced with e-bikes and how these can be overcome.
