Keep in mind
We work hard to maintain consistency across all of our tours, but some trips have unique differences. Here are some things to keep in mind about this tour.
- Venice Access Fee: For the time from April 18 through July 27, the Venice Access Fee applies. Read about what areas require the fee, how to pay the fee, or apply for an exemption.
- The guided walk of Florence ends by the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, 5 minutes from the Uffizi and other important sights. On our walk, we will not visit the inside of any buildings or museums.
- If you wish to explore Florence’s renowned museums, we recommend you make your museum reservations in advance. Refer to Day 8 of the itinerary to find out when to schedule your visit of the famous Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia, home to Michelangelo’s David, and read more about how to plan your museum visit in Florence on tour.
Our most popular tour for cyclists of all levels.

An excellently and joyfully guided bike tour in Italy that is for folks who enjoy combining a good amount of daily miles with the opportunity to explore life in Italian villages and cities.

Major focus was biking, of course, but there was a fair bit of time for other things. Very fun. Wonderful, capable guides and fabulous good. Extremely organized?you don?t really have to do anything yourself except ride and socialize!
Wendy S., Chadds Ford, PA – May 2023 -
Of the 6 tours we have done in Italy, that we have thoroughly enjoyed, this one was extraordinary and takes first place!
