Congratulations, you’ve decided to book a cycling adventure with ExperiencePlus! You’ve made an excellent decision! We know that planning your arrival and departure to and from the tour can seem challenging, which is why we are here to help as you begin your travel planning.

Arriving and departing your tour: Find step-by-step arrival and departure instructions on each online itinerary under “Plan your trip”. If you’re booked on a trip already, simply refer to the Travel Packet link we emailed you.

ExperiencePlus! travel assistance

Traveler Services at ExperiencePlus! is here to help you coordinate your transportation before and after your cycling tour. Travel Assistance includes help with flight quote requests, guidance on ground transportation, and booking extra nights at most tour starting or ending hotels.

To ensure a smooth, worry-free arrival and departure, the Traveler Services team will carefully review the travel details you provide. That’s why, at a few key points before your tour, we’ll ask for your flight information and any hotel plans before or after your trip.

Travelers booked on Classic, Bike & Boat and Expedition tours are welcome to use travel assistance provided by ExperiencePlus!. Gravel Explorer and self-guided tour pricing does not include travel assistance.

If you’re left scratching your head about train schedules or which bus to take to arrive to your tour, we’re happy to help.  If you are researching on your own, remember that schedules for most European trains aren’t released until 3, or sometimes 2  months prior to the departure date. More questions on trains?

We are happy to book extra nights for you at most tour starting and ending hotels, and selected meeting hotels as listed on your tour itinerary. Extra nights will be booked in your name, and you can make payment directly at the hotel when you are present. We will ask hotels to keep you in the same room as you have with the group so you won’t have to move during your stay. No credit card is needed to make these arrangements. ExperiencePlus! partners with an air travel concierge service who offers professional help with complex and simple flight itineraries alike, has access to great business class fares, and can offer expert advice. The service doesn’t end with you getting on the plane. If the unforeseen happens, and your flight is cancelled, they are here to help!

Travelers booked on Classic, Bike & Boat and Expedition tours are welcome to email the Traveler Services team at travel@experienceplus.com. Traveler Services will also reach out to travelers as the trip approaches to ensure that everything is in place for a smooth arrival and departure. Travelers on Classic, Bike & Boat and Expedition tours can expect a travel planning offer from Traveler Services about 6 months prior to the tour start.

While we won’t be able to offer travel assistance to those booked on Gravel Explorer tours, there is still a wealth of information available to help you plan your trip. Refer to the Travel Planning section on our website. Gravel Explorer travelers are also welcome to utilize the air concierge services by contacting them directly.
